When you lose one or more teeth is important to replace it as soon as possible because the problems arising may be even greater than the fact of losing a piece.
With dental prosthesis treatments, we can replace one or more missing teeth, either by a permanent method (crown, bridge, implant) or complete dentures whether fixed, hybrid or removable. Dentures help restore the ability of proper chewing, which is important for overall health. In addition, they limit the movement of other teeth, phonetic restoring the phonetic function and aesthetics.
There are different dental treatments related to dentures
Complete Denture –Over Implant
If you have lost all your teeth there are various solutions available.
Complete dentures or, as usually called, complete dental prostheses, replace all the teeth, either in the upper or lower jaw, or both.
In Marali Dental Clinic, we have three options for complete dentures on implants either fix, removable or hybrid:
Different techniques for placing dentures
Dental prostheses- Fixed
It is a ceramic crowns prosthesis on implants. Its main advantages are high aesthetics, functionality and hygiene. Fixed dental prosthesis is the ideal solution in terms of aesthetics and chewing. This type of dental prosthesis should be cleaned and maintained as if they were our own teeth. The most sensitive area and must be specially treated in the cleaning of implants is the area of the implant crown. More precisely, the area between the gum and the crown.
The removable prosthesis are overdentures that are anchored by attachments to a bar or metal ball that is screwed on 2 or 4 dental implants in a fix form. The patient removes the prosthesis for cleaning
They are resin crowns screwed on metal frame and on the implants in a fix form. They can be used from 6 to 8 implants to support a hybrid denture "fixed". They should be raised at least once a year for cleaning. It can only be removed by the dentist.
Dental prostheses - Removable - Complete or partial (without implants)
Flexible dentures, removable prostheses or "dentures" is held on the gum and can also be supported by the patient teeth. The main advantages of the removable prostheses is the oral hygiene simplicity as they can be removed for cleaning. Flexible prosthesis can be complete (teeth) or partial. Partial dentures in only some teeth are replaced while the total, is the entire dentition
Dental prostheses on single dental implants
Dental prostheses implant. Dental implants are fixed in the jaw bone and they are not visible once surgically placed. They are use to secure the crowns (the shown part of teeth in the mouth), bridges or dental prostheses. If the bone has a good size and quality, it is possible to place the implants and the prostheses immediately, without waiting for 3 or 6 months. Depending on the case the prostheses can be fixed in an hour or the next day.

Crowns and bridges are dentures that we provide restorative solutions that are manufactured individually and are designed to have the same look and functionality as the rest of your natural teeth. They can be placed on natural teeth or dental implants.
